A New Initiative by Liberty Door Investments to Protect Veteran Homeowners

Liberty Door Investments is proud to introduce the Veterans Shield Homeowner Program, a dedicated initiative designed to help U.S. veterans avoid foreclosure, preserve equity, and navigate their housing options with dignity and clarity.

This program was created in response to the growing need for reliable, accessible foreclosure prevention resources for veteran homeowners. As the national conversation around veteran housing protections evolves, including the recent passage of H.R. 1815 — the VA Home Loan Program Reform Act — we believe it is essential that veterans have partners they can trust to help them make informed decisions.

Program Highlights:

• Foreclosure Avoidance Strategies: Assistance with repayment plans, loan reinstatements, and structured exits if retention is not possible.
   

• Support with VA Partial Claims: Guidance through the newly authorized VA partial claim program, which now gives the Department of Veterans Affairs permanent authority to allow non-interest-bearing junior liens to help borrowers recover from delinquency.
   

• Equity Preservation: If a veteran cannot keep their home, we help them exit in a way that protects their financial position.
   

• Personalized Guidance: Every veteran receives a one-on-one consultation with a trained housing specialist.
   

About the New VA Partial Claim Authority

H.R. 1815, passed with broad bipartisan support in the U.S. House of Representatives, brings long-overdue alignment between the VA Home Loan program and existing FHA and GSE loss mitigation options. This legislation:

• Grants permanent authority for the VA to offer partial claims
   

• Caps the partial claim amount at up to 30% of the unpaid principal balance
   

• Prevents any reduction to the VA loan guaranty
   

• Prohibits interest charges on the deferred balance
   

This change provides a stronger safety net for veterans facing financial hardship and gives servicers more flexibility to help borrowers stay in their homes.
